Availability / Source build

Your machine.
Your next session.

The local engine is in development. Public source publication is still in preparation, so there is no working public checkout or release download yet.

01 / Checkout and build

Build the CLI.

After publication, these commands will check out the source and build a local binary at bin/zyphr.

git clone https://github.com/zyphr-labs/zyphr.git
cd zyphr
go build -o bin/zyphr ./cmd/zyphr

Check source availability

02 / Configure deliberately

Follow the current setup.

Once the source is available, use its README to start the collector and configure one native adapter. Preserve existing hooks. Begin in observe mode, with prompt capture off.

Proxy configuration is a separate step. It uses a per-runtime CA, not a certificate installed in your OS trust store. Read the security boundary before adding an egress policy.

03 / Review locally

Open the local console.

After the repository's setup, use the binary you built to start the console. Follow the local address printed by the command.

./bin/zyphr ui

Run a harmless task with synthetic data. Check session identity, event sources, findings, and gaps. A successful session is not a claim of complete capture.

Coming from Lantern?

Keep existing Lantern data and hooks intact until an explicit migration. The project name changing does not make a directory rename safe.
